Russell Creek Park is a great place to go hiking or take your kids for a walk. It also has a playground and a lake. The park is a good place to practice sports and hang out with your friends.


Bond-funded renovations at the park are underway, with two natural turf fields being converted to synthetic, all-weather turf, along with new scoreboards, shaded player benches, and ball netting. The project is expected to be completed by early 2022.

The submarine was a favorite of children for many years, but it was a tetanus hazard and has now been removed.
