The Boardwalk at Granite Park
Updated: Jul 3
The Boardwalk at Granite Park is a 30,000-square-foot waterfront escape with restaurants, patios, lounge seating, and a spectacular view. Centered on an existing retention pond, it serves as a gathering place for office park tenants and the surrounding community.
Four new restaurants have joined the culinary lineup along The Boardwalk, including B. Frank & Relish and Biscuit Bar, alongside Dallas favorites Pearl Cup Coffee and Edith’s French Bistro.
The Promenade
A cool place to hang out and enjoy the outdoors. There is a large manmade lake/pond with fountains and then a row of restaurants with open patios around it that has a little “boardwalk” connecting them. The restaurants serve a variety of brunch, lunch, and dinner options. On certain nights there is live music. It’s pretty awesome and a cool addition to Plano.
The Boardwalk is more than a destination; it’s a community. With conference rooms, a fitness center, on-site notary services, and even a clothing donation bin, it is clear that this is a community that puts its guests’ needs first.
From aerobic sessions under the new pavilion to weekly farmer's markets, there is always something going on. You can grab a quick bite at Moxies, known for their globally inspired menus and craft cocktails, or have a casual meal at The Biscuit Bar, serving homemade biscuits and specialty tater tots. Pearl Cup Sip, a coffee shop by day and wine bar by night is another great addition to the area.
The Community
Whether you’re looking for a casual patio brunch date with friends, a new restaurant concept to try, or a fun family night out on the waterfront, The Boardwalk is the place to be.
Located within Granite Park’s office park, this restaurant park is a destination for employees and the surrounding community. Rather than the typical configuration of buildings facing a road and parking lot, we turned the design inside-out by focusing on a pond as the central feature, resulting in a true people's place.
The Boardwalk features a variety of events, from live music to fitness classes. Upcoming events include Trey and the TriTones on Oct. 23 from 5-8 pm and Divine Balance Yoga on Nov. 21 at 6 pm. All proceeds from these events benefit The Family Place, an organization that empowers survivors of family violence and strives to change the culture of abuse in our communities. The Boardwalk also houses six new restaurants with outdoor seating overlooking the water.
The Amenities
The Boardwalk features a wide variety of restaurants and other activities that bring people together and support healthy choices. It offers a range of experiences, from a casual family picnic on the grass to an evening out at one of the new restaurants with patios overlooking the water.
Centered around an existing retention pond, this 30,000-square-foot restaurant park is within walking distance from the Granite office buildings and adjacent neighborhoods. The pond is flanked by a layering of restaurant patios, pedestrian paths, and lounge seating that make it an inviting destination for both office park employees and the surrounding neighborhood residents to enjoy.
A vibrant destination with 18 hours of activity, The Boardwalk at Granite Park has something for everyone. From a stroll with a loved one to an exercise class with friends, it is a place to connect and be inspired. The Boardwalk also hosts a number of events, including live music and community gatherings in the new pavilion.
The Restaurants
Whether you are looking for a fun patio brunch with friends or a family-friendly dinner, The Boardwalk is the place to be. With a variety of restaurants, entertainment, and a beautiful waterfront view, it is sure to please everyone.
A new restaurant park is centered on an existing retention pond serving adjacent Granite Park office buildings. The pond acts as a buffer against the harshness of the highway intersection and parking lot and is the focal point for the restaurant environment.
The park includes two new concepts and four already-popular Dallas eateries. The Biscuit Bar serves Southern goodness on a biscuit, Union Bear Brewery is accented with chef-driven takes on American pub food and Hookline offers approachable hamburgers, fries, and Tex-Mex.
There is also Pearl Cup Sip, a coffee and wine concept, and Edith’s French Bistro. Each location features outdoor seating and entertainment. Every Sunday, The Boardwalk hosts a farmers market in the new pavilion across from the pond and restaurant patios. The market offers a curated selection of 25-40 local artisans and makers and is accompanied by music and food & beverages from the restaurants on site.
